Little Island Event Embroidered Bucket Hat - Proceeds Donated
Since most of us do not live in New York and are seething over the people who were there, I decided to make some stuff for anyone who still wanted some merch without having to take out a loan. This embroidery design is inspired by one of the shirts that was sold at the event, shown to me by some very kind fellow Gambino fans who attended! Let it be known that this is NOT official Gambino merch, just heavily inspired by the real stuff.
The proceeds from this product will be donated to the Hawai'i Community Foundation, specifically the Maui Strong fundraiser. The original shirt design was released for an event promoting Donald Glover's new project, "Bando Stone and the New World" which was largely filmed in the state of Hawai'i. The Hawaiian Islands have been devastated by colonial destruction over the decades. Tourism of any kind, including for film production, is inexcusably unethical, and only contributes to the further suffering of Hawai'i and its people. The profits from your purchase will be donated to a cause that actively seeks to heal the wounds caused by recent natural disasters in the islands.

This hat will be made especially for you as soon as you place an order! Making products on demand instead of in bulk helps reduce overproduction, so thank you for making thoughtful purchasing decisions! This one is not being made in my apartment like some of my other products, so it might arrive in a separate package to other items in your order if you've purchased multiple things. I am not affiliated with Donald Glover aka Childish Gambino in any way and I have no intention to be, contrary to popular belief. This product is not officially licensed, but is merely the work of a very big fan of that man’s work in the entertainment industry. Any similarities between my work and past materials sold as official Childish Gambino merchandise, is 100% intentional, as many designs were recreated, being re-drawn by hand during a time where I could never afford real merchandise. I carry this tradition/hobby from my early teen years into adulthood to give my fellow Gambino fans a budget-friendly alternative so that they’re not tempted to drop next month’s rent on some resold festival merch from eight years ago. The funds from this purchase will go towards my immigration/visa fees, unless there is a specific charity or organization mentioned in the item listing, which the proceeds will then be donated to.
